Project description
Shore Monitoring & Research finished a survey campaign for two cable landing corridors at the second Maasvlakte beach. This extensive survey scope contains setting up benchmarks, LiDAR and orthophoto surveys on land and sub-bottom profiling, multibeam echo sounding, side scan sonar and towed magnetometer measurements using our shallow water vessel ‘SHORE Possibility’.
Shore Monitoring & Research is responsible for creating high resolution DTMs of the beach as well as for the near shore part of the project. Through the use of SHORE's extensive experience in the near shore area, overlap between the wet and dry areas was achieved.
