Cable & Pipeline
Tracking burial depth and integrity from landfall to offshore.
Infrastructure Protection
Asset Integrity
Subsea cables and pipelines are critical infrastructure vulnerable to scour, anchor drag, and sediment movement. Ensuring they remain buried at the correct depth is vital for their protection and longevity.
We perform Depth of Burial (DoB) surveys and route inspections. Our specialized vessels can track cables even in shallow landfall zones where larger survey ships cannot reach, providing a complete dataset from shore to sea.
Cable Survey
Shore Possibiliy and Opportunity in operation
Survey Techniques
Determining the precise 3D position of buried infrastructure.
Pipe Tracking
Using sub-bottom profilers or dedicated tone-detection systems to locate the acoustic reflection of pipes and cables beneath the seabed.
Scour Assessment
High-resolution Multibeam Bathymetry identifies areas of free-span where the seabed has eroded away from the cable, creating stress points.
Landfall Mapping
Seamlessly integrating topographic drone data with shallow-water bathymetry to map the cable as it transitions from sea to shore.
