Coastal Monitoring
Tracking morphological changes from the dunes to deep water.
Erosion & Nourishment
Managing the Coastline
Coastal environments are dynamic. Sand replenishment (nourishment) projects require precise volumetric data to measure effectiveness and track erosion over time.
Shore Monitoring & Research excels in "Integral" monitoring. We combine drone topography for the beach/dunes with jetski (PWC) bathymetry for the surf zone, and survey vessels for deeper water. This provides a single, gap-free dataset of the entire coastal profile.

Surf Zone Survey
Closing the data gap
Integrated Approach
Seamlessly merging land and sea data for a complete morphological picture.
Jetski Survey
Our specialized jetskis (Shore Plop & Smit) operate in the surf zone where waves break, capturing data in water as shallow as 0.5 meters.
Drone LiDAR
Heavy-lift UAV equipped with LiDAR sensor map the dry beach and dunes rapidly, penetrating vegetation for accurate ground models.
Volume Analysis
We calculate precise volumes of sand movement (erosion/accretion) by comparing sequential surveys, providing essential data for coastal management.
